Marie's Belly Shots!

A few weeks ago Brett and I did a maternity photo session for my good friends, Maria and Tim and their soon to be born daughter, Amelia.  The shoot went wonderfully.  We began by capturing some great images in the room that they have lovingly crafted for Amelia.   

Later, we took advantage of the beautiful day by shooting along the banks of the Saranac River and we eventually wrapped up our time together with some fun images on the shores of Lake Champlain.   In the weeks after our session Marie and Tim welcomed their beautiful Amelia into the world.  We look forward to having having spending some camera time with Amelia very in the next few days. 

Welcome Brett LeClair--New Silver Lining Photographer!

I just wanted to take a minute to welcome our newest photographer--Brett LeClair.  She brings with her a strong graphic design background and excellent phototographic instincts.  She'll be photographing several events this year and has already done some super work with us thus far!  Brett will also be chronicling some of her photographic adventures here on the blog from time to time as well. 

The Wedding of Brett and Ashley

Recently we had the honour of photographing the wedding of Brett and Ashley.  Wow! What an awesome couple!  We spent pretty much the entire day with them and it was all fun!  After their lovely ceremony, the reception was held at the wonderful Valcour Conference Center.  I rant and rave all the time on the blog about how this is one of my favorite venues to photograph a wedding and/or a reception.  You simply can't beat the scenic beauty of the location and the service is excellent.  We are still fine tuning all of the images from their special day, but we are attaching a healthy dose of them to this posting.  All of these and several more will be available later today on our main site as well for viewing and/or ordering.  Pleas join me in wishing Ashley and Brett a lifetime of happiness and prosperity.

The Wedding of Amanda and Carey

At the peak of the fall foliage, we had the privilege of photographing the union of Amanda Shannon and Carey Frennier.  They had a lovely ceremony at the Old Base Chapel in Plattsburgh, New York.  They couldn't have picked a better date to capture the beautiful colors of the ivy on the chapel.  Afterward they had a lovely reception at the Rainbow Banquet Hall in Altona, New York.  The reception was fantastic and everyone danced the night away.  Their pictures will be ready in a few weeks but for now please enjoy this  preview.  We will make an announcement here on the blog when they are all ready.  Please join me in wishing this wonderful couple a lifetime of happiness and prosperity.
